Facilities

From classrooms to laboratories, the Northeast campus is fully dedicated to healthcare. You will discover the human body in a full anatomy center with a cadaver lab and conduct research in our 8,000 square foot state-of-the-art research facilities (including motor systems physiology, biomechanics, nutrition, technique and bioinstrumentation laboratories). The Northeast Library hosts an impressive collection, including the Museum of Chiropractic History. And while you're learning to care for others, you can also take care of yourself in our campus health center, community meditation space and the Standard Process Health and Fitness Center.

Other facilities include three Northeast-run health centers located across New York State in Levittown, Depew, and Seneca Falls, in which our chiropractic students, under the mentorship of expert clinicians, treat members of local communities.

Anatomy Center & Cadaveric Dissection Lab

When it comes to learning human anatomy, dissection of a donated human cadaver remains the gold standard in medical education today; less than .1 percent of the world's population has this privilege. Your "first patient" will take you far beyond a textbook as you prepare for your role as a future healthcare provider. You won't just watch an instructor — you'll actually touch and dissect a human cadaver yourself. Because touching is a learned skill, working with real human bodies and organs will give you, as a future chiropractor, the deepest possible understanding of how and what you're treating. You will develop your sense of what a human muscle, bone, nerve, or artery feels like, so you can give your future patients the quality care they deserve.

FAST Lab

In the FAST Lab, Northeast’s doctor of chiropractic students work with human analogue mannequins on treatment tables, both embedded with Force Sensing Table Technology™ that allows them to receive on-demand data regarding adjustment force, direction, amplitude and speed. This information guides the learning process as students develop the psychomotor skills to make accurate high-velocity, low-amplitude thrust adjustments.
