Professional Licensure Disclosure
NYCC's doctor of chiropractic program is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education. Prospective and enrolled students are encouraged to research licensure requirements for the state that they reside in and/or intend to reside in as licensure requirements vary from state to state*.
*Each state's licensure regulations is distinct. In order to ensure individual licensure eligibility for any/all states that there is a desire to practice in, review of the specific Chiropractic State Board information prior to matriculation as well as periodically until graduation is highly recommended. While NYCC's doctor of chiropractic curriculum prepares students to meet state licensure requirements, each applicant/student is responsible to obtain information to ensure that they can meet the requirements/qualifications for the state's specific licensure requirements.
REVIEW LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS STATE-BY-STATE
The Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards website is a resource for prospective and enrolled students. Review this resource for contact information and the requirements for individual state licensing boards. State board licensing requirements are subject to change. Prior to enrolling, NYCC recommends contacting the state licensing board where there is interest to practice to ensure licensure requirements can be met. NYCC also recommends checking the requirements regularly after enrollment.
