After 30 years of service, New York Chiropractic College's Associate Vice President of Administrative Services Mr. Dick Worden will retire on April 30.

Worden came to the College after a number of years as office manager of the Hogan-Souhan Dairy in Auburn, N.Y., and as general manager of Seneca Fall's Gould Hotel. He joined NYCC as director of purchasing in 1991, just before the College's move to Seneca Falls, and was instrumental in the openings of the new campus and NYCC health centers across New York State. Throughout his time at the College, Worden was promoted to assistant vice president of administrative services and then associate vice president of administrative services. He has served as a member of the College's Senior Staff for the last twenty years.

Worden has also provided service to the professions as a long-time test administrator for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and has held leadership positions and served on the boards of the National Association of Educational Procurement (NAEP) and the United Way of Seneca County.

"We are truly fortunate to have had Mr. Worden as a foundational member of our College. He has made innumerable contributions to our organization and to the professions as a whole, and has been an exemplary leader in our proud #NYCCBlue community," said NYCC President Dr. Michael Mestan. "As both a colleague and a friend, I thank Dick for his outstanding service and wish him well in this new stage."

Worden credits his family -- particularly wife Peggy -- with the support that allowed him to excel professionally. As well, Worden noted that his environment and work colleagues also played a part in his success. "I have always been exceptionally proud of my staff at the College," he said. "It has been both an honor and a privilege to work at NYCC."

Current associate vice president of information technology Mr. Christopher McQueeney was promoted to vice president of administrative services and will oversee the newly established Administrative Services Division. The division includes IT, facilities, purchasing, the health and fitness center, the mailroom, and central duplication.

McQueeney has been with NYCC since October 2013.  He earned a B.S. degree in corporate communications from Ithaca College and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University. Immediately prior to NYCC, McQueeney worked for Empower Federal Credit Union in Syracuse where he held the positions of vice president of information technology and vice president of risk management and facilities.

"I am grateful for Mr. McQueeney's excellent efforts overseeing the College's information technology services, and I look forward to what I know will be continued great work as he transitions to this new role as a member of our senior staff," noted President Mestan.
