Dr. Aizhong Li is a full Professor in FLSAOM of NYCC. She started to work for NYCC since 2004 as a full time faculty, teaching many TCM courses. Additionally, she has served as a faculty clinician at the college’s outpatient health center acupuncture clinic in Rochester New York up to the date. Dr. Li has published more than 40 papers and books in both Chinese and English and presented in many national and international conferences. Dr. Aizhong Li received her Chinese medicine education from the Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine (HLJUCM) in China. She was appointed as a full time faulty in HLJUCM, engaged in research, teaching and practice started in 1984. In 1992, she came to USA as a visiting scholar at Brown University. From 1993 to 1996, she was working as a senior postdoctoral research fellow for Harvard University, Harvard Medical School. From 1997 to 2004, Aizhong established her private practice in Toronto Canada, meanwhile, she worked as a full time faculty member in The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences (TMI) to teach and also served as an acupuncture clinic supervisor in the Wasser Pain Management Center of Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto.
