Winter 2021 - Welcome to The Pursuit, the newsletter for alumni of New York Chiropractic College. Each trimester, The Pursuit will share the latest NYCC news and initiatives, highlight great events, and tell the stories of outstanding NYCC students, faculty, staff, and alumni as they pursue academic excellence, leadership, and professional best practices.
The Winter term is in full swing here at NYCC, both via remote lecture-based coursework and in-person, hands-on practice. It is always a joy to watch our students work and learn, be it online or on the beautiful grounds of their academic home. And in these unusual times, we are all perhaps more honored than ever to witness that transformation from dedicated student to future healthcare leader.
As NYCC and our whole world settles into the “new normal” brought about by COVID-19, it is clear that, for our College, the global pandemic has spurred something far past “normal.” Instead, out of the crisis has come a vision of opportunity and innovation. The College has embraced new ways of learning, new technologies, new spaces and new formats. We have begun to forge new paths of excellence to support our students in their calling to learn and heal. Though we continue to manage health and safety during the pandemic, I am excited by what the future holds as together our College reimagines health, for professionals and patients alike.
