NYCC Remembers Board of Trustees' Palmucci

NYCC was recently saddened by the unexpected passing of long-time NYCC Board of Trustees member Mr. John Palmucci.

Mr. Palmucci worked extensively throughout his career with not-for-profit organizations, serving as vice president for finance at institutions such as Merrimack College, Valparaiso University and Loyola University Maryland.  He joined the NYCC Board in 2011 and held a number of leadership roles, including Board vice-chair and chairperson of the Strategic Planning and Finance/Investment committees.

"John was both an outstanding professional and person," said NYCC President Dr. Michael Mestan. "He was generous with his extensive knowledge, and always operated from a place of great ethics and true kindness. I am grateful to have worked with him, and will miss his wisdom and spirit."
