NYCC's Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Special Projects Dr. Todd Knudsen has been elected to serve as a Council member of the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE).

Dr. Knudsen has served as a member of the CCE Academy of Site Visitors since 2012 and as a Site Team Chair for the past 18 months.  He has additional accreditation experience as a Site Team Academy member of the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since 2017.

"As a member of several healthcare organizations, including in his current role as President of the Council on Diagnostic Imaging, Dr. Knudsen exhibits great professional dedication and commitment and stands as a true leader in chiropractic," said NYCC President Dr. Michael Mestan. "We commend his longtime contributions to our discipline."

About The Council on Chiropractic Education

CCE is the national accrediting Agency for Doctor of Chiropractic programs within the United States.  Accreditation provides assurances of educational quality and institutional integrity to governments, jurisdictional licensing and regulatory bodies, institutions, professional organizations, students, other accrediting agencies and the public at large.

The CCE allows each chiropractic college a maximum number of councilors and with Dr. Todd Knudsen joining the Council, NYCC will be at that maximum.
