Dr. Benjamin Bartolotto is a 1977 graduate of the National College of Chiropractic and a Fellow of the American College of Chiropractors, with undergraduate degrees in Environmental Health and Biology and a certification in Histology through the American Society of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP). He has been in practice in Binghamton, New York for 37 years. Dr. Bartolotto served as a member of New York State's Education Department's Professional Assistance Program, is past chair of the New York State Board for Chiropractic and currently serves as an extended member, as well as a Chief Examiner for the National Board of Chiropractors {NBCE} Part IV examination. He has instructed in the classroom, through Webinars and authored on line documentation courses for New York Chiropractic Colleges' Post Graduate Department. Dr. Bartolotto is a Qualified Independent Contractor {QIC} performing external appeals and has extensive experience in Utilization Review {UR} of commercial, state, and federal health care policies, and is a documentation content expert witness.

Dr. Paul Dougherty is a 1990 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic who received his diplomate in orthopedics from the National College of Chiropractic (1996). He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at New York Chiropractic College and in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
He also teaches in the Geriatric Medicine program at the University of Rochester and since 2003 has been Director of Chiropractic Consultative Services at the Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, New York. He is also a chiropractic consultant at the Rochester Outpatient Clinic for the Division of Canandaigua Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He has particular interest in geriatric care and public health and is published in these fields. The Monroe Community Hospital is a long term care facility.

Dr. Sandra Hartwell graduated from New York Chiropractic College in April 1996. She has extensive postgraduate education in sports medicine and Active Release Techniques®. She is currently full-time as an assistant professor teaching human gross anatomy courses as well as neuroscience anatomy. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Hartwell also has a private practice.

He is a certified professional coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), and is certified in healthcare compliance through the Health Care Compliance Board (HCCB). His expertise in coding and compliance consulting stretches over twenty years in the healthcare arena. He has provided training and education to hundreds of healthcare providers in both one-on-one and group settings. He was the past operations and billing director for a 36 office clinic and is the Founder and President of DK Coding & Compliance, Inc. a health care consulting firm that focuses on audit defense, education, compliance and reimbursement issues.

Dr. Hunter Mollin has been in practice since 1981. He currently is an Associate Professor at New York Chiropractic College where he teaches in the Clinical Science Department and practices at Camillus Chiropractic. He holds certifications in Cox Distraction Technique and ConnecTX. Cox Distraction Technique is a proven method of treating disc lesions and related spinal conditions. Graston Technique is an instrument assisted connective tissue procedure utilized to treat conditions such as tennis elbow, shoulder tendonopathy, sprain/strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and postsurgical scarring, just to name a few.

Dr. Georgia Nab treats nearly 150 patients a week in her chiropractic practice. What is unusual about her practice is its location. Nab's office is in the corporate headquarters of whole food supplement manufacturer, Standard Process Inc., located in Palmyra, Wis.
A 1994 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College Kansas City campus in Overland Park, Kan., Nab owned a chiropractic clinic in Wichita, Kan., before joining Standard Process' health and wellness team, which includes two other on-staff chiropractors. Together, Nab and the other chiropractors provide chiropractic care, nutrition counseling and nutrition education training to more than 300 employees at the company's corporate headquarters.
Nab is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and is certified in applied kinesiology. She is passionate about good nutrition and healthy living. She lives in Dousman, Wis., with her family.

Dr. John Nab is the Director of professional development for Standard Process Inc., a whole food manufacturer located in Palmyra, Wis. Dr. Nab is responsible for advancing the company's academic partnerships across practitioner disciplines, furthering the development of educational initiatives, and oversees strategic initiatives in women's health and military programs.
Dr. Nab, a second-generation chiropractor, is a 1994 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College (CCC) in Kansas City, Mo. He is a member of multiple chiropractic associations including the Chiropractic Summit. He is also an active member of the High Country Knights of the Chiropractic Roundtable, and was recently elected as their Secretary.
Dr. Nab comes to Standard Process from CCC where in 2004 he was elected to the college's board of trustees. In 2006, Dr. Nab joined the administrative team of CCC as a multi-campus officer and ultimately became the college's vice president of institutional advancement and alumni services.
Dr. Nab has also worked in the financial sector, spending 11 years as vice president of Gold Bank, where he managed multiple business lines, implemented best practices for customers and helped chiropractors get and stay in business.

Dr. James Powell graduated from National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, Illinois in 1970. He is a Diplomat in the International Board of Applied Kinesiology and was selected as a fellow in the International Council of Chiropractors. He is certified in Rehabilitative Exercises, from the University of Florida, College of Medicine, and the Department of Health and Human Performance.
Dr. Powell holds licenses in Ohio, Florida and California. He has held Chairmanships in Local, State and National Chiropractic Associations. He is past president of the Ohio State Chiropractic Board, serving in that position for 8 years and now serves on the New York Chiropractic College board. Dr. Powell serves his community on various boards and has served on the board of Trustees of Malone University for 15 years, four years as the Chairman. He also serves as a board member of the Total Living Center in Canton that feeds, assists and ministers to the poor.
Dr. Powell conducts seminars for Chiropractic Colleges assisting the outpatient clinics in providing nutritional services for their patients. He has been published in several chiropractic publications, and has received special awards for his accomplishments within the chiropractic profession.
He also presently serves as a consultant for special projects with the Standard Process in Palmyra, Wisconsin. Dr. Powell has been married to his wife Donna for over 45 years.

Dr. Rick Rosa, a member of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council, received his Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College in 1996 and was hired as a teacher at the college thereafter. In 1996, he began practicing in a multidisciplinary setting, allowing him to experience various approaches to health care as well as treat all sorts of acute injury and pain syndromes. He is still a member of the post graduate faculty at New York Chiropractic College and has lectured extensively on many topics and presently teaches other doctors about recovery in Sports.
He uses many active and passive soft tissue techniques and is certified in Graston Techinque. In addition, due to his extensive work in pro cycling Dr. Rosa has trained at the famed Serotta International Cycling Institute under Paraic McGlynn in the use of Dartfish motion analysis for bike fits. Dr. Rosa is pioneering research in the use of Dartfish, a high definition video motion analysis system to evaluate athletes from a movement assessment perspective to find and correct various muscle and joint injuries. He is also trained in the use of musculosketal ultrasound that he utilizes in his Virginia locations.
Dr. Rosa considers himself a "professional student" and continually learns more about the latest treatments and techniques to give his patients the best care available.

A popular and renowned speaker on the various areas of nutrition, Dr. Seaman was recognized as the ACA's Academician of the Year in 2006.
Dr. Seaman is a professor of clinical sciences at the National University of Health Sciences in Pinellas Park, Florida, where he teaches clinical nutrition and evaluation and management of the musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory systems. He also is a faculty member for National's Masters of Science program in advanced clinical practice.
Dr. Seaman is a graduate of Rutgers University and then New York Chiropractic College. He received a Masters degree in nutrition from the University of Bridgeport and a diplomate in neurology through Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Seaman has authored a book on clinical nutrition for pain and inflammation and has written several chapters and articles on this topic. His academic and clinical interests are focused on how pain and symptom/disease expression can be modulated with lifestyle choices and manual/rehabilitative interventions.

Dr. Eugene Serafim is a Board Certified Rehabilitation Specialist who has undergone rigorous testing and training to bring the most advanced techniques to help resolve patient issues.
Dr Gene has been practicing manipulation and manual therapy for 16 years. He believes in science based treatment protocols and is recognized as a Rehab Specialist after undergoing over 300 hours of extensive training to receive an Advanced Rehabilitation Diplomate. He is also a Strength and Conditioning Specialist receiving his certification from NSCA. His experience allows for seamless post rehab transition into the world of exercise.
Dr. Gene practices with a diversified technique that encompasses a spectrum of manual "hands on" therapies including; Myofacial Release, Active Release, Post Facilitated Stretching, Post Neuromuscular Facilitation, Trigger Point Therapy, Tendon Mobilization and Nerve Mobilization. Dr. Gene's background in rehab allows him to functionally test his patients; which is a new and unique approach in rehabilitation.

Dr. Sportelli has been president and officer of NCMIC Group, Inc., since 1995. He is past president (1998-2000) of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). He also served as chairman of the board of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) from 1989 to 1990. Dr. Sportelli has coauthored several risk management and patient education textbooks, and has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, and Mexico. He currently serves on the advisory board of The Chiropractic Report newsletter and has been a member of the Palmerton Hospital board of trustees since 1992.

Ms. Kathy Taromina is an Associate Professor and full-time faculty member with the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Ms. Taromina has over 10 years of clinical and teaching experience. She previously served with Touro College's School of Health Sciences (2001-2010) as Academic Coordinator, full-time faculty and subsequently as Program Director for the Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine. Most recently, she was appointed and served as Associate Dean. Ms. Taromina has served as a faculty member and Department Chair of Clinical Practice at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, NY (1999-2001). She received her Bachelor degree from New York University and her Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, NY. Ms. Taromina maintains an affiliation as an acupuncturist for the Integrative Therapies Program at Columbia University Medical Center, NY. She is a co-author of various publications and is actively engaged in clinical research activities relating to the use of acupuncture with pediatric oncology patients. Ms. Taromina serves as President for the New York Acupuncture Coalition, Inc.(NYSAC), an Advisory Board member to the Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) and as a member of the Clinical Working Group of the Academic Consortium for Complementary & Alternative Health Care (ACCAHC).

Ethics: The Obvious and Not-so-obvious Ethical Pitfalls in Health Care
Dr. Keith Wells is a 1983 graduate of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, today known as Southern California University of Health Sciences. He taught in the Diagnosis and Principles and Practice Departments at LACC/SCU for 23 years before moving to New York Chiropractic College in 2007, where he is Associate Professor in the Diagnosis and Philosophy Departments. Dr. Wells holds a Master in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and a Master in Science and Religion from Biola University. His training includes work in Bioethics, Business Ethics, the Philosophy of Science, Metaphysics, Epistemology and the History of Science and Religion.
