Description: A Comprehensive, Interactive Guide to CPT Coding, Documentation and Office Procedures Instructor: Ronald Wellikoff, DC Objective: To provide, through telephone workshop medium, an in office clinical coach to work with small groups of doctors (maximum 11) on the clinical challenges facing the practitioner. Topics covered: 1. Ethics, Fraud and Abuse 2. Documentation, Recordkeeping 3. CPT coding, Establishing Medical Necessity, etc. All 12 credits can be applied toward New York State mandatory Category 1, Ethics, Documentation, etc. Notes will be provided via US mail.

Description: Incorporating Nutrition into Your Chiropractic Practice: Practical Ways to Help Your Patients Through Nutrition Instructor: Serge Nerli, DC, MS Including nutritional counseling into your chiropractic practice is critical to having a successful “well-care” practice. Today’s wellness minded patient wants to know what they can do, aside from chiropractic and exercise, to keep themselves healthy. Educating them on proper nutrition and supplementation can seem intimidating, but this course will help you overcome your apprehensions by guiding you through some common recommendations. You’ll learn how to evaluate your patient’s nutritional needs, and become acquainted with the basics so that you can confidently advise them.

Description: Mastering Cervical Spine Syndromes Instructor: Donald R. Murphy, DC, DACAN Objective: To provide, through telephone workshop medium, an in office clinical coach to work with small groups of doctors (maximum 11) on the clinical challenges facing the practitioner. 1. Review and discuss examination procedures and treatment algorithms; 2. Student participation through real patient case presentation; 3. Familiarizes doctor with evidenced based literature; 4. Review case studies; Workshops will be quasi-formal, having formal organized teaching of certain topics, with case studies provided by instructor but also can have the participants bring to light difficult cases of their own to discuss. Instructor can make recommendations and the participant can try those or that recommendation and then discuss with instructor at the next class. Reading projects can be assigned and then discussed if this information was useful in practice. Notes will be provided via US mail.
