The Northeast College of Health Sciences Board of Trustees held its Winter 2024 meeting on March 1, welcoming most trustees virtually as well as bringing on a new member to the Board.

During the meeting, trustees heard reports from divisional committees. Among the updates, the Board focused on the progress of the launch of the College's inaugural undergraduate AAS programs in radiologic technology and diagnostic medical sonography, as well the proposed establishment of a new Long Island campus offering a branch of the College’s doctor of chiropractic program. The programs plan to seat their first classes in Fall 2024.

“This is an incredible milestone,” noted Northeast President Dr. Michael Mestan. “I am grateful for the unwavering support of our Board as we transform into a comprehensive college offering both renowned graduate programs as well as new, in-demand undergraduate health sciences degrees.”

The Board also received reports from the College's Faculty Senate and Student Government Association (SGA). Dr. Christopher Borgerding, associate professor, spoke as head of Faculty Senate, and updates from the SGA were delivered by the group’s Secretary/Treasurer Abshire Markham (D.C. ‘25).
