The New York Chiropractic College Center for Postgraduate and Continuing Education offers a wide variety of seminars designed to enable practicing doctors of chiropractic to keep abreast of current clinical concepts, new techniques and other advances relevant to the profession. The Center presents seminars through the “traditional” classroom setting and “online”. We encourage you to click on to the Continuing Ed Online Learning to find out about the courses offered through this medium. In both cases the seminars are taught by practicing chiropractors and other health care practitioners with established expertise in their fields. The Center’s offerings (classroom, online, home study, teleseminar, Clinical Coaching Tele-Conference Workshop, webinar) all are applicable for New York State license renewal credit. Check with the Postgraduate Dept or your state board to verify individual state’s acceptance of the distance learning formats mentioned above and course content. Courses fulfilling New York State Mandatory Category 1 (Ethics, Documentation, Patient Communications) are all indicated as such. Some courses lead to diplomat status or certification in a specific area. Finally, continuing education credits can be utilized to fulfill managed care and health maintenance organization annual continuing education requirements. Thomas R.
