Program Purpose

The Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition graduate program provides a comprehensive professional education that focuses on nutrition and its application in prevention and disease management that prepares graduates to practice in a wide range of clinical, consulting and industry settings.  The program emphasizes an integrative approach to healthcare.

Program Information

  • Classes are held once a month on Saturday and Sunday for 24 months
  • 2 year, 36 credit program
  • Courses will be available in Seneca Falls, Depew and Levittown via video teleconferencing
  • Faculty will rotate throughout these three locations so that students will have the benefit of a “live” professor available to them
  • Candidates are required to have successfully completed (C or better) 90 semester hours (or 136 quarter hours) of undergraduate study. At least Nine credit hours shall consist of the biosciences. Overall grade point average must be 2.5 or higher.
  • NYCC's Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition is designed with health care professionals in mind. While a background in health care is not required in order to be accepted into the program, clinical experience may be necessary in order to be licensed. Please refer to your state's licensing requirements.
