Accreditation

Charter and Program Registration

New York Chiropractic College was granted an Absolute Charter by the New York State Board of Regents on behalf of the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.

New York Chiropractic College's Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, the Master of Science degree programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the Master of Science degree program in Diagnostic Imaging, the Master of Science degree program in Applied Clinical Nutrition, the Master of Science degree program in Clinical Anatomy, the Master of Science degree program in Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction, and the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree program are registered by the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.

Regional Accreditation

New York Chiropractic College and its degree programs are accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104, 215-662-5606. The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.

The Master of Science in Acupuncture and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine programs of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine at New York Chiropractic College are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners. Minnesota

"New York Chiropractic College is registered as a Private Institution with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education pursuant to sections 136A.61 to 136A.71. Registration is not an endorsement of the institution. Credits earned at the institution may not transfer to all other institutions."

Maryland

"New York Chiropractic College is registered with the Maryland Higher Education Commission and in compliance with the requirements of the Education Article, Title 11, Subtitle 2, Annotated Code."

New York Chiropractic College is currently not accepting applications from residents of Arkansas into the online Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition and Master of Science of Human Anatomy and Physiology Instruction degree programs.
